As QuidelOrtho continues to grow, we are seeking a IT Analyst-IT Production Operations within our IT Organization to support the key services (Change/Release/Incident/Problem/Batch Processing) coming out of IT Operations including: Training end-users; ensure adherence by end-users; identify improvement opportunities of the services offered. In addition, maintain accurate supporting documentation on the services offered and effective metrics showing value of services. Work with the IT team on the U.S. east coast to collaborate on ensuring services are working as expected for IT and end-users as we expand these services into our U.S. west coast offices.
The ResponsibilitiesCoordinate changes to ensure that the integrity of the live environment is protected and that the correct components are released.
Ensuring that all IT teams follow the incident/problem management process for all major occurrences and document any repeated non-conformity.
Monitor batch services, identifying Anomalies and support batch service requests
Maintenance of change/ incident/ problem/batch records, metrics and identify trends/ patterns in analysis of metrics.
Provide support and training to IT and end-users on the services of Production Operations.
Hosting of various weekly Production Operation meetings to review changes, problems and incidents
Provide communication and information, including relevant documentation, as required.
Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Work with stakeholders and users to ensure the change process is appropriately documented, communicated and understood.
Assist the Prod Ops manager in completing regular audits of the process
Maintain a repository in which a master copy of all authorized changes/incidents/problem is securely maintained.
Provide input for policy based on ITIL principles and best practice.
Carry out regular reviews of the processes with stakeholders and clients
Complete post implementation reviews in accordance with process governance.
Involvement in design and implementation of policy, process, and procedure
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent preferred however not required
5-8 years of experience working within an IT organization is required
Fundamentals of ITIL/ITSM is required
Working knowledge of using or supporting Change-Release-Incident-Problem Management best practices is required
Working knowledge of using or supporting distributed batch scheduling tool is desired
Knowledge of quality test methodologies is desirable but not required
Key Working Relationships:
Works collaboratively across different IT and business areas to ensure core Prod Ops functions are being leveraged (i.e., Change, Incident, Batch)
