The De Beque Marshal's Department is hiring two Deputy Marshal's to Join our Team!
Deputy Marshal salary range is $62,400 (no experience), to $89,440 (top pay). Lateral hires generally start at $72,800 yearly depending on qualifications and experience.
De Beque is a small community 30 miles east of Grand Junction, CO straddling I-70 along the Colorado River. The area is in close proximity to many recreational opportunities. We are seeking candidates with a strong work ethic, integrity, and a love for helping others.
**Responsibilities:**
A Deputy Marshal (police officer) is expected to perform field duties including responding to emergencies, general and directed patrol, investigation of crimes and other non-criminal incidents, traffic enforcement and control, assisting in crime prevention activities and other law enforcement services and duties as required.
A significant degree of initiative, independent judgement, and discretion is required to develop, maintain, and successfully perform tasks in a community oriented, problem-solving approach to policing.

Schedule:
- 10 Hours traditional shift for SRO, or in FTO.

- Colorado POST or other state police officer certification (Required)
