Senior Manager, Change Management - Strategic Initiatives

Your Role
The Enterprise Change Management team orchestrates priority change initiatives with enterprise-wide impact, with a vision of developing a lasting, sustainable change capability at Blue Shield of California. The Senior Manager, Change Management for strategic initiatives will report to the Senior Director, Change Management and Employee Engagement. In this role, you will lead large-scale change strategies/plans for Blue Shield, aligning fundamentally new ways of working across the enterprise. Initiatives will often have enterprise-wide impact, including new leadership mindsets, approaches to transform our talent practices, and reimagining the future of work to deliver on Blue Shield's business and people priorities. The role will also be accountable for client coverage to parts of the organization, serving as a strategic coach/advisor to leaders at the SVP/VP levels, while partnering with HRBPs, communications, enterprise learning and other teams to grow capabilities more broadly.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Lead change strategy for multiple strategic priorities for the enterprise (cross-business integration, functional complexity, substantial and pervasive change)
- Own overall change capability development for part of the enterprise
- Coach/advise leaders at the SVP/VP level, along with select partners (e.g. HRBPs, internal communications)
- Establish standards for change management at Blue Shield of California, leveraging internal/external practices, contributing to lessons learned and engaging in the broader community of change practitioners
- Establish priorities, sets goals and coaches change management talent
- Amplify and accelerate ability to meet the desired business and people outcomes of each priority
- Foster organizational agility through engagements in and across the enterprise to more readily adapt in a continually-changing environment
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a master's degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Requires at least 4 years of management experience
- Requires experience leading large-scale transformation projects across an entire enterprise (cross-functional, cross-business) from initiation through sustainment
- Requires certification and fluency in a variety of change models & methodologies (e.g. Prosci, ACMP, AIM, Kotter, GE), applied at the organization, team and individual levels
- Requires functional breadth in multiple related disciplines such as communications, adult learning, leadership development, org design and design thinking
- Requires diagnostic and research skills to break down complex challenges, identify root causes, and structure targeted recommendations
- Requires cultural awareness and empathy to create solutions with partners and clients that will endure
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $ 145970.00 to $ 218900.00 for California.

Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
