Manager, Digital Marketing San Diego, CA

Your Tasks:

This position leads Miltenyi's digital marketing team in all efforts, creating and deploying email, digital ads, social media, and other eCommunications for various marketing campaigns and projects. The Digital Marketing Manager directs all dedicated digital marketing team members and leads assigned Marketing and MarCom team members on projects to implement digital activities in order to meet the Marketing team's goals to drive targeted traffic, increase brand visibility, engage audiences, and generate leads. The manager also tracks and reports on activity success, playing a key role in strategic planning and daily execution of digital marketing campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts of the MarCom and Marketing teams to develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies.
  • Manage and optimize email marketing, digital ads, social media, and other digital communication channels.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign/project performance and effectiveness.
  • Act as the primary Digital Marketing contact for the Miltenyi Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Work closely with the HQ Digital Marketing team to create and enforce company style guidelines, email cadence, and targeted messaging in customer-focused communications.
  • Lead and mentor the team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive digital marketing campaign execution.
  • Function as key marketing automation expert for the organization and as a primary digital marketing resource for all North America activities including regional product marketing activities, MarCom team activity support, and Sales team support.
  • Responsible for the execution of digital marketing efforts including:
    • Oversee creation and optimization of marketing target groups for use in the marketing database in order to accurately expand the potential customer base and ensure database quality.
    • Oversee the use and management of the Marketing Cloud software.
    • Develop and optimize landing pages, support website updates, create and deploy organic social media posts and advertising, and manage online sales enablement tools in support of marketing campaign activities.
    • Manage and track all digital marketing activities and provide regular reports and updates to leadership and the Marketing team.
    • Develop and optimize email communications for regional field Sales organization, including newsletters, email campaigns, promotions, and trade show announcements.
    • Work with HQ and the Marketing team to drive regional SEO/SEM activities to support campaign objectives.
  • Serve as key point of contact for regional web/landing page development.
  • Oversee email template development in coordination with the global digital team.
  • Work with the CRM team to develop processes that capture, and track leads driven from digital marketing activities. Coordinate with CRM team to ensure timely transfer and entry into CRM, communication to sales team, and creation of reports to management.
  • Work closely with CRM team to integrate customer information into digital marketing efforts.
  • Prepare monthly sales and marketing reports to management.
  • Build and execute surveys to support Marketing and Sales activities and events.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Marketing or Life Sciences related field of study; A minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing or communications role; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience with SEO/SEM strategies and tools.

Knowledge:

  • Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM, lead management, and email marketing tools to communicate with potential and existing customers.
  • Deep knowledge of how to use email marketing platforms, including how to craft emails and campaigns that successfully engage business needs.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to track, report, and optimize marketing activities.

Abilities:

  • Ability to segment email lists into different audiences to build targeted campaigns and encourage conversion.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

Must have ability to handle more than one task at a time and must work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to travel occasionally by car and plane.

The anticipated base salary range has been established at $72,900 - $98,700/year. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above salary range represents the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition to your salary, the Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, plus a 401(k) plan. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
