JOB TITLE: Director of Marketing

DEPARTMENT: Marketing

REPORTS TO: Administrator/Business Director

 

The purpose of this leadership position is to coordinate and lead the Brooks-Howell Home strategic marketing effort, generate referrals and admissions that are required to meet or exceed the census goals, and grow and enhance our independent resident population through relationship building and community outreach.

 

Key job functions:

- Implement and support the United Methodist Women strategic plans to build, achieve and expand Brooks-Howell Home admission and census goals

- Increase community and professional market place awareness within organizational admission criteria.

- Identify, manage, and develop relations with targeted groups, educating on Brooks-Howell services and programs.

- Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans

- Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.

- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant organizational functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.

- Manage contracts and all administrative preparations for incoming residents.

- Maintain and update resident communications, including the resident handbook.

- Create and maintain outreach goals within the United Methodist Women organization.

- In addition, this role will require: working closely with various divisions of the United Methodist Women organization, attending community events, networking groups, etc.

 

Job Qualifications:

- 3 - 5 years of experience in sales and marketing / admissions in a skilled nursing facility or elder care setting.

- Advanced computer skills including; web design, publishing software, Microsoft office, social media, and other appropriate marketing software.

- Ability to work outside of normal business hours.

- Ability to travel regionally and nationally.

- Learn and maintain the mission and goals of Brooks-Howell Home and the United Methodist Women.

Pay: $50,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Marketing: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Asheville, NC 28801 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Asheville, NC 28801: Relocate before starting work (Required)
