Your Role

The Value-Based Platform Operations team supports the Platform Operations that house our Value Based Programs (VBPs). This includes managing updates to data interfaces to and from the platforms, managing the platform backlog of issues, operational updates and enhancements, managing internal and external user access to the platform and providing quality assurance of platform updates and reports, creating monthly platform update reporting, and ensuring providers are paid accurately.

The Director, Program and Project Management will report to the Senior Director, Medical Informatics. In this role, you will oversee a team that ensures alignment of all IT technical components are managed and delivered under Pay for Care Agile Release Train that support accurate and timely data transmissions and enhancements of data to our Value-based platforms. The role includes creating strategy for value-based platform monitoring and reporting and oversees a team that monitors and tracks stability of the platforms and serves as the value-based platform Operations owner, ensuring operational excellence for all pay for value payment models.

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a college degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, including 6 years of management experience
  • Value-based care programs and platform operational support experience preferred
  • Agile methodology and project management experience is preferred
  • Experience in working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders (i.e. IT, Clinical Quality, Claims Operations, Network Management, etc.) is preferred

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $165,990.00 to $248,930.00 for California.

Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
