- Work with Education and Communications Director to develop and implement comprehensive communication plans that align with our organization’s goals and values.
- Participate in the development of marketing strategies to reach individuals interested in small business resources, utilizing current channels and advancing new channels, such as increased video outlets.
- Participate in the development of marketing strategies to promote SBDC’s specific programs and services, including new and ongoing programs, individual events, eCourses, members of our team, etc.
- Create engaging content for various platforms, including our website, social media channels, press releases, newsletters, and marketing materials.
- Responsible for managing SBDC’s social media accounts including content development & graphic design, monitoring engagement, and supporting SBDC’s organizational presence.
- Prepare external facing bi-weekly newsletters to SBDC subscribers, including content, graphics, and layout.
- Work with Director to develop and distribute promotional materials for SBDC programs for in-person and virtual use, including SBDC’s Annual Impact Report, one-pagers for programs, and postcards promoting SBDC, partners, and clients.
- Manage marketing and promotional materials needed by the SBDC team for in-person events, statewide, including inventory, printing, distribution.
- Provide promotional materials (online and print) needed by organizational partners.
- Coordinate SBDC blog content, from client stories to articles on timely small business topics
- Handle the hands-on management of SBDC’s website, developing and adding new content/layout/graphics, maintaining website with current content, and updating website as needed.
Duty/Responsibility
- Coordinate planning and organizing of in-person and virtual events, including venue selection, logistical arrangements, purchasing supplies, scheduling, and serving as a primary point of contact for the event.
- Coordinate and manage on-site physical facilities and services to meet program needs, including registrations, available services, on-site setup, catering, handouts, etc. Troubleshoot and solve unanticipated problems. Arrange back-up and logical solutions to onsite challenges.
- Manage online event logistics, including registration set-up, tracking, Zoom/Teams management and the creation of new event webpages.
- Assist the NH SBDC State Director and leadership team when needed for organizational partnership outreach for projects, events, etc.
