Responsibilities:
- Build positive relationships, inspire others to perform at a higher level, prepare career development plans and retain an accountable workforce.
- Coach and counsel staff and administer appropriate disciplinary action in a timely manner.
- Manage pre-employment and annual medical health screenings, immunizations, and vaccination programs, to include oversight of medical surveillance programs.
- Ensure administrative processes for employee immunizations are up-to-date and in compliance with FHCSD policies and processes.
- Participate with the VP, Nursing and Clinical Compliance, in the development of strategies and practices for occupational health programs in managing health problems for employees.
- Responsible for the management and tracking of employee exposures to include developing processes to ensure post exposure issues are resolved and addressed.
- Manage identification of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention and health promotion strategies in optimizing health of the FHCSD workforce.
- Participates in the collaboration of integrated FHCSD Wellness Programs in working toward optimum health for employees.
- Ensure applicable regulatory and department standards are adhered to in an ongoing basis (Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.)
- Lead, educate, coach and mentor others on LEAN continuous process improvement philosophy, and tools and application to accomplish organizational goals.
- Follow and maintain FHCSD behavioral standards to include effective listening and communication skills with respectful interactions with colleagues and patients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Current California RN license required.
- Current CPR Certification.
- BSN/MSN degree preferred.
- Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner within San Diego County, to locations that may have limited access to public transportation; proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS: Licensed for a minimum of 3 years; No more than 2 violations and/or accidents within 3 years; No vehicle related suspensions/reinstatements; No DUI, reckless or felony Driving with 7 years

94,856.00 - 135,416.00If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
