Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, the employee provides educational instruction to prenatal patients. Performs case management and chart EPIC loading for all obstetrical patients from various Women's Health Services location.

This position will require working at various locations to include Convoy/MOS/VLJ WHS .

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associates degree in business, healthcare administration or related area, and / or equivalent combination of experience / training.
  • Two (2) or more years of Experience in OBGYN working with/providing health education to the prenatal population in a large, complex healthcare setting.
  • Epic or other EMR experience.
  • Intake coordinator and/or care coordination experience.
  • Proven knowledge of third-party payors including federal, state, and private health plans.
  • Demonstrated computer skills/ability to work between multiple systems
  • Ability to work in an interactive environment.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Experience and proven success in working knowledge of departmental and organization policies and procedures; knowledge of educational program content and objectives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Continuing education in related field.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $49,400 - $82,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $23.66 - $39.37

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
